Je suis Valérie, artiste et maman de deux filles. En 2024, j’ai quitté mon emploi pour créer SUFFISAMMENT, avec une envie : rappeler aux gens qu’ils sont à la hauteur, même quand ils en doutent.

Ce sentiment de ne jamais en faire assez, je le connaissais aussi. Entre les vies qui semblent parfaites sur les réseaux sociaux, la comparaison et la pression de performer, j’avais envie de faire une place à des mots plus doux. Des mots qu’on aurait besoin d’entendre plus souvent.

Aujourd’hui, je dessine et j’écris pour t’aider à exprimer ta reconnaissance, ton soutien, ta fierté ou ton amour. Pour que la personne qui reçoit ton cadeau puisse se dire : « On voit ce que je fais. Je compte pour quelqu’un. » Et parfois, cette personne, c’est toi.

My story with a touch of courage

Over a year ago, I made the decision that terrified me the most: quitting my stable job to embark on a truly ENOUGH adventure. Why? Because I pictured myself at 80 on my balcony. I knew I would bitterly regret not trying.

Today, I can say that I'm heading in the right direction. I don't yet know how this will all unfold, whether it will end in failure or resounding success. But I know one thing for sure: if I hadn't tried, I wouldn't have achieved anything.

When I doubt, when I'm afraid to dare, I look at these framed words on the wall next to my desk and dare again. The worst that could happen? Being told no. But I discovered that so many "yeses" were waiting for me too.

The story behind this creation

I created this work after realizing how many times I'd held myself back out of fear of failure or judgment. The truth? You set your own limits. I had to repeat this to myself hundreds of times before I finally dared.

This is the message I repeat to myself when I'm tempted to stay in my comfort zone. It's the one I wish I'd heard earlier in life.

Enchantée, moi c'est Valérie.

J'ai grandi sur une ferme en Estrie, aujourd'hui, j'habite à Québec avec mes deux adorables cocottes, Florence et Aurélie, qui m'inspirent chaque jour à voir la beauté dans les petits moments.

Mon parcours n'est pas celui qu'on attend d'une artiste. J'ai quitté une carrière confortable en marketing pour me consacrer à ce qui fait vraiment battre mon cœur : aider les gens à exprimer ces émotions profondes qui nous laissent souvent sans mots.

Pourquoi ai-je créé SUFFISAMMENT?

Un jour, j'ai réalisé que j'étais fatiguée d'offrir et de recevoir des cadeaux vides de sens. Des objets qui finissent par prendre la poussière et des cartes qui se perdent au fond d'un tiroir.

Je voulais créer quelque chose qui reste. Quelque chose qui parle directement au cœur et qui, chaque jour, rappelle à quelqu'un qu'il est aimé et qu'il en fait assez.
